I have been using this facility for the last six months and it is wonderful. You should simply go to http://www.dropbox.com and download the programme there.

How does it work?

1. I set it up at office and home and put some of my documents there. These documents are stored at the main server of dropbox plus the computers at home and office. If I change any document in one location all the others will be updated automatically. Furthermore I have access to these documents from any computer with internet connection.

2. Dropbox has a "Public section". If I want to share anything with others I put them in the public section and copy the links to them. Anybody can click on those links and see them. You can remove these items at any time you wish to do so. This is an added advantage compared to some other sites. For example here is the banner I proposed for C44 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/26171843/C44%20Flag.JPG

I too use this and it's very useful.

One thing to bare in mind though. If you set up a 'public' folder to share documents, any document deleted by any of the users will be deleted from Dropbox AND your PC

msg 4,

Anything in the public folder can only be downloaded but not edited. I hope I am right about this. Yes?

@ msg 6, elko2: Ismet, I use Dropbox for quite some time now and there are more options to (controlled/limited) sharing files. Check here:
