Stoppaj is effectively a sales tax. On property it is paid on transfer it is supposed to be the responsibility of the Vendor & is 6% (for professional seller) of the contract price or the price the property is valued at by the Land Registry whichever is higher.

Everyone has a once only exemption to sell a property without paying Stoppaj.

Well I think this is correct unless it has been changed ............................

Message 5 is correct but if there are trees on the land the exemption does not apply to them. There will still be some to pay albeit not the full amount. I don't know how much but your lawyer will advise.
