Yes my resolution is easy 'keep smiling and don't let the B+++++++ grind you down' I have tried others without success. But if you keep smiling it keeps others guessing

My new years resolution every year is not to make one in the first place as i never seem to keep them. I went on the tablets for stopping smoking and it worked for four months until i moved out here.

I gave up smoking a few years ago - stopped for almost 2 years - put on a load of weight and started smoking again. Despite this, I am determined to give up again in the New Year. Wish me luck - I'll need it!!

THE WICKS..Gave uofive years ago after quad by-pass caused by 50years of smoking and like you have piled on the weight, but I can actually taste and smell what I eat now...Wonderful ..So have another go and dont worry about the weight.. can always tackle that later..I think that might be my resolution ..try and get a bit of weight off...

hi to the wicks my son has just given up with the help of tablets he can bear the taste or smell now and thats after 15 years. me i started when i came here to cyprus 4 years ago, and at my age i am ashamed of myself but i do enjoy it with a nice glass of wine. i hope to resolve to give up when the stress levels go down but scared of putting on weight as i cant afford new clothes. i agree with the comments re taste smell ect but i hope to god when i think its time that i will have the will power. a very happy xmas to you both and if you decide to give up i wish you all the luck in the world xxxxx

ralph re post 4.

when my gp gave me the tablets , i got out of my face on them, it didn't stop me smoking though!!

when i explained to the dr, what was going on he couldn't believe it.

apparently there are not many documented reports of this happening to people, but some like myself do have a reaction.

ok if you want to go clubbing, but not to function for work, driving, kids ect.

they first gave the tablets to people with depression and found a side effect of them was they stopped lots of those depressed people smoking.

hence thats why the now perscibe them.

me as a happy person, they sent over the edge, lol.

it was fun while it lasted, but i'm not sure how safe!!

fire Starter.. like I said earlier,it takes a severe shock sometimes to get you to pack in.What I was told did the trick, but try not to let it get to that stage. All the best in your efforts...
