We have a terrorist group arrived in North Cyprus. Quite scary . The market over the mountain on the way to Ercan, they terrorised the owners for money and they were then found on the Buffavento Castle having committed suicide cuddled up together. The terrorists then text the editor of a newpaper and demanded more money and if not forthcoming they will strike again.

FF, I think that you need to look up the Definition of Terrorists in the Dictionary before scaring people and are you quite sure

I just watched news on BRTK. it is not clear yet if it is suicide or murder.

The couple found dead were the parents of the owners of Eruklu supermarket, according to the Kibris newspaper they were found lifeless in their jeep in Buffavento with a bottle of Ayran which contained poison (some form of pesticide).



The editor of Kibris apparently then received a text from a organization calling themselves TUGRAL (as far as I can recollect) taking responsibility or the deaths. They claimed the couple owed the organization 1.2 million lira and this incident should set an example for others to follow.



One strange act the couple did was hours before being found they took pictures of themselves cuddling up and printed off hundreds of these pictures for family members...



The family told Kibris that there was no reason (financial or health) for the couple to take their lives.



Police are saying no such organization has come forth to them and the investigation is still on going..............



Very strange as this takes this weeks suicide count to 5!

Terrorist - a person who uses or favours violence and intimidating methods of coercing a government or community.

To terrorize - to fill with terror.



These poor people, part of a community, were either terrorized enough to commit suicide or terrorized at the point of being killed.

Either way there ain't nothing wrong with calling the perpertrators of such vile acts, terrorists.

Various legal systems and government agencies use different definitions of "terrorism". Moreover, the international community has been slow to formulate a universally agreed upon, legally binding definition of this crime.



These difficulties arise from the fact that the term "terrorism" is politically and emotionally charged.
