not really, the food/service was crap.lets hope the new owners have the business sense to realise that serving good home cooked food at reasonable prices will surely create a healthy business and a buzzing little social hub.......

Why? Why would anyone want to go to a restaurant where the cooked the food at home? Do you like reheated food?

The place was good once and many have tried hard to make it work...get back to basics and ask why the landlord thinks (well he does'nt, does he !!) he can ask rents of between £1000 and £2000 per month for this place, it doesnt add up, it cant do and never will, but this is Cyprus and once again it will remain empty until some one else comes along and says..'its only £250 a week rent... I can manage that'

at 4tl for efes thats a lot of efes....do the sums..on the rent alone......!!!!

(rents quote are only what I have heard but from very good sources)

When the sun starts shining again I am sure they will be open again

For now its the old mill, the corner house or 5 fingers as if thats not enough !!!!!

Old Shep

If that's true then that must be good news for the village, because as Marcos says the landlord didn't seem to have much luck with his tenants did he!!!

At least new "owners" will have a free hand to what they wish. If they stick to what works best there, ie a straight forward pub with simple good value food then all should work out well for them.

The new owner wants to rent it out, 800 sterling a month with two months upfront, at the minute they are doing the place up and putting in a new kitchen. Good luck!

You have to laugh at serial nonsense... There is no way on God's earth to make a decent profit running a pub here to cover an 800 GBP rent unless.... it's turned into a brothel...... now there's an idea!
