A friend of mine has had her genny pack up at this very wet time, the engine is running but no voltage is being produced. Is there anyone out there who can repair, or help in some other way?

Can't she get it repaired by the firm that sold it to her?

Phone Ilker Kral, 0542 858 4631.

He will come and have a look at it. Fix it on the site or take it away. He does the electrical as well as the mechanical side and I can recommend him.

I agree with Ismet, Ilker knows what he's doing with generators, diagnosed and fixed my Kipor on site, & had the correct spares with him.

Having said that, Ismet diagnosed the fault over the Internet - pity he couldn't fix it via email as well...

Keith.

Ilker lives in Famagusta and works with his father in Guzelyurt, so he can travel anywhere in TRNC.

Frontal, Its either something simple like it has tripped a switch or one of the condensors has blown but it could be more sinister and the charge windings have burned out in which case it needs a new alternator.

Whichever it really needs putting on a load bank and testing but I doubt anyone will have one overthere so its trial and error I affraid !
