Just above right of Cetus in the west after 7pm today... Between Cetus, Aries and Taurus. If that's too hard... a scan above where the sun went down should reveal the two bright objects....

Let's hope it's a clear night.

Amazing !! I don't know how many millions of miles they are apart, yet the conjunction makes them appear almost next to one another !!

As Groucho says - Jupiter & Venus - both very visible in the western sky from about 7pm onwards. At the same time in the eastern sky is mars (appears yellowish this time of year).



From about 9:30pm in the east/southeast sky, Saturn will start to rise.



If you are still up and about around 02:00 - Mars, Saturn & Moon will be starting to set in the south/south western sky.

Nice one Groucho! I have been staring at these two last week on the way back from Lefkoşa. I knew one of them was Venus (always easily visible), but I was at a loss as to what the other one was - now I know
