i have been watching filmizle.com. You can get some english films on that site, but mostly turkish. There are lots of new release films on there which is great. Is there another site (without downloading), that you can watch english films (possibly new release films)?

If you are willing to pay and have some kind of VPN to make it look like you are in the UK you could try

Try justintv, it is a streaming channel. It is mainly american series like csi law and order but has film channels too but a huge choice of things to watch .I would not recommend it for watching premiership football though it tends to stick when too many people log in .

I have used filmizle, but i find the constant stopping for ad breaks a bit irritating...i have recently come across this site, and am finding loads of movies to watch.

I must be daft. I looked at filmizle site and it provides information about many films but I could not click on the button that says "izle" i.e. watch. I am connected through Multimax adsl which is presumably connected through the dark side because I am automatically connected to Google Cyprus. Any comments or help will be appreciated.

Izmet, click on the video you want to watch. Then scroll down until you see a black box with a play icon in the middle. Click on the play icon and the film will start playing. You can then maximise the video to fill your whole screen.

Not really relevant, but noticed that the Famagusta News is now obtainable on a mobile.

msg 9 Julia. If you click on 'yabanci' films a list comes up that are in english. They usually have a grey strip across the top left hand corner and (i think) it should say turkce dublaj. Also you can choose what year you want. There is a lot of choice, but as i said earlier, after about 15 mins the movie stops to show a bunch of ads, and you have to scroll down to the next box to start the next part. If you are a heavy smoker this is handy as you can nip out for a smoke and/or a refill
