Mrs H had this misfortune to stuff the car last weekend;her fault, penury measures have been taken and the frock fund is at an all time low.

This was over towards Famagusta, the police couldn't have been more considerate, even though she was to blame they were concerned about her and her passenger giving them coffee tea and putting them at there ease. they organised a breakdown truck which delivered her and the Hippo Mobile home.

Yesterday (and here comes the word of warning) I had to go and sign a statement saying that she had permission to drive the car, because my name was on the log book. This was something I had never thought about before.

Although the signing took just seconds it was some time before I managed to leave the police station as they just wanted to talk drink coffee and make me feel welcome.

Thanks again to the Kibris police.

Well said Hippo, I have always found the Police at Famagusta and Iskele to be very friendly and helpful.
