A black labrador type dog has recently turned up outside Lemar Karaoglanoglu. He is in very good condition apart from an injury to his rear leg. Just thought I would post this as he may be somebodys dog that has got lost. He is in superb condition apart from his injury which makes me think he cannot have been abandoned.

He has white marking on his chest. Lovely looking dog and nice natured.

Informed KAR he is there because of the injury to his leg.

Redwine.....sorry cannot understand what is silly about posting about a lost and injured animal on here. Some people care about animals on this forum.

You carry on posting on joke threads ...as you quoted yourself...... You can tell I am retired I have nothing better to do than post on here - must get a hobby and a life before I snuff it

We saw the dog too, Amber. It really is lovely-natured, sad to see it has a leg injury. We gave it a good stroke and pat, but can't have dogs in our apartment. Someone had given it biscuits, so hope KAR can pick it up , or the owner turn up to claim it. Don't worry about Redwine, they don't sound like the sharpest knife in the drawer. Thanks for caring about the dog.

Sounds like all your knives are blunt, Redwine, pity you can't treat a post about an injured dog seriously. Kudos to Amber, brickbats to you.

The black dog has now been collected by KAR and will be given medical treatment. He will then be going to the Rescue Centre.

Thanks Mobry and Hamish.

Hope he is doing ok. He is such a lovely dog. Looked like he had been looked after not like a street dog.

We went to see the pooch today, Amber. Hopefully they can fix up his damaged hip okay and if so, he'll be coming home with us to our new apartment some time in April. He is lovely, friendly and affectionate, and his new name will be Samson, as he was brave in adversity, managed to survive, and has short hair!!!

Please would anybody be willing to look after Samson until he goes to his forever home in April. He really is such a lovely dog, but at the Centre as much as we try, we are so busy at the moment with another 200 dogs we cannot give him all the love and attention he deserves and requires whilst recovering. if you can help Samson please ring Julie on 05338631950.

Sadly, Samson won't be coming home with us, but for a very good reason - he's been tracked down by his family who are delighted to have found him and take him home with them. Sad for us, but very glad family has been re-connected with a much loved pooch. Looks like he may have been nicked for breeding and then dumped when it was found that he'd been speyed. Happy ending for pooch and family. Will miss him.

MoBry,

Sad for you both, but I bet both family and dog are just so happy. I'm sure that you will find another dog that needs a loving home with such obviously nice, caring people like yourselves.

Poochie.
