---can anyone tell me the correct Turkish for these items please--İ have tried but failed after scouring my dictionary-----and using my slightly improving Turkish



-----cawl ( to wrap around koftas etc)

----rib-eye steak

....loin chops (lamb)



....beef rib (to cook as a joint)

Supreme in Çatalköy often have ox tail - but it's pre-packed and you often have a lot of small pieces included with hardly any meat on, and its very expensive!!

On the contrary... we see loads of cattle off to the slaughterhouse... not sure where you are looking for cattle, you do see individual beasts tethered to trees along the roads but the countryside is quite a normal spot for herds. They are there... so their tails must be somewhere!

If you find a nice local butcher anf go there regularly and try out your new turkish words, I'm sure you will get some. Might have to remind him a few times.

Tongue was what I wanted and now my butcher keeps it for me
