As my wife has problems with chlorine (skin allergy), I am presently using a 'watermaid' for a salt water system. I am now loking at the possibility of changing to another system that would not affect my wifes skin, so less chlorine is better.

Any info regarding a workable system would be greatly appreciated.

Are you after a different but still salt-water solution? Or do you want to move away from using salt to an alternative that is not salt based. i.e. or is it just the Watermaid system you want shot of because it is not the best implementation of a salt-based system?

Hi ultimately all I require due to 'the wife' having Dermatitis, is very little chlorine. I gather all pools have some chlorine in then. I was initially recommended a watermaid (2006) using saltwater as the best choice. This I now find (like many others )not practical, and having read different threads on the forum I was considering using either the UV system or the Alligator .

I would appreciate any help with a selection, although initially it does appear that the Alligator seems to work ok!?
