Must be localised nothing Karsiyaka, Lapta, Alsancak.

Nothing to do with one agin other, it is not just the minority dozen of british people affected it will be hundreds of Cypriots too.

This is a normal working day so work must go on. Why should Kib Tec pander to a few foreigners.

I would suggest that you re-evaluate your postings tomorrow when you are more sober. Take care and enjoy your holiday.

Believe it or not Kibtec generation staff work 24/7. Although Kibtec offices are open during normal office hours there are out of hours numbers that you can phone if you have a problem. Maybe you need to aquaint yourself with these numbers . Next thing is, this is not a holiday period for the locals and every TC will be working as normal today, tomorrow etc carrying out maintenance as and when it is needed and from my experiences over the last few years then you will end up getting a far more reliable supply and I defy anyone to say that the electrical supply is getting worse rather than better.

If you get wound up about these situations then you should not be living here.

have candles in your home and cook with gas !!!! nice and romantic atmosphere - some people are always complaining about administration - why do they come to live in NC if it is so good in their country they should stay there !

Seems to me tha you moan about no electric spoiling your Xmas Day but you could not have been up to much if all you did when the power came on was jump straight on the PC and start making postings. What an exciting Christmas in your house!

I think you are all being a bit harsh on gates, when I came back all I heard was moaning from the brits about the electric being off all over crimbo a couple of years ago, so it would seem the 'I'm alright Jack' situ is applying here...It is christmas, what happened to love they fellow man!

Gates,

Perfect Preparation prevents Piss Poor Performance. Why didn't you prepare in advance ,knowing this country has great problems with electricity. Sorry I have no sympathy.

Hi Dee,

Can't comment on the power cuts this year as we have now left although we never took it personal in the past few years and enjoyed Xmas. We were hoping to speak to Kev before we left to get his contact, were could do with help here, sorry to have to contact you this way and for disturbing this thread, suggest how I could contact you and I will.

Sue
