The person whose name is on the contract with Kibtek will be responsible for the bill. However i would like to think that anyone renting and the electricity bill is part of the deal would be honest enough to pay it.

Geoff , i agree , but do you think people will want to pay a huge deposit ?, going by some of the past posts some renters have left the owners with huge bills

Depends what you mean by a short time, if its a holiday let 1 or 2 weeks then you would not expect the tenant to pay it, unless stated otherwise for excessive usage.

A month or two deposits would be the norm to cover this, and is the usual procedure for longer rentals.
