This certainly would appear to be suspicious. Very identifiable dogs like these, just wandering off?? Did the collars have a name and your telephone contact number on them?

I do not want to sound unsympathetic but how do all these dogs go missing? If a dog is kept either in the house or a secure garden they should not be able to stray. Is it that they are being taken deliberately?

I have a friend who breeds Siberian Huskies and she refuses to let any of her dogs go to be treated as domestic pets, they are working dogs and need to be regularly worked, given the chance to escape the confines of a compound, they will do at every given opportunity and go foraging, individually for 7-10 days at a time, as a pair for even longer periods.

@Flossie44, my sentiments exactly, are there any Chinese, Koreans or Indians in any numbers on the Island, seriously, either the pet owners on TRNC are just particularly irresponsible or someone is taking them?

I would like to say I found my dogs at 00:00 last night near Kocaslan holiday village in Çatalköy, kept by a Turkish couple who feed them and kept them on their balcony looking towards the road (smart), I would like to thank the lady who was very kind to give me information about where they where seen and the lady who also told me which direction they went, if it wasn't for their help I wouldn't have found my dogs, thank you so much for your help

And would also like to thank all others for their comments

Have a nice DAYYYY )))))

Woodberry

I stay in ozanköy and a couple of months earlier they've stolen my dog from my garden when we were cleaning its place. There is a "mafi" stealing and re-selling dogs. The police and locals are aware of these fact.

Anyway I hope you find your dog

Good luck!!!

The Turkish couple would not know about cyprus 44, to have read what we posted, We are looking into the matter with more detail as they told us they informed the police that they found the dogs but no records were found about this at the police station.... It was a miracle finding the dogs so far out..... I do think there is something going on but will find out and will let you all know.

So pleased that you have found your dogs. We know what you went through.

Unfortunately not the same story for our Boo.

Please keep looking for him.
