The first issue of the "Medieval Cyprus eMagazine" (March 1, 2012) passed 2000 readers this week. Even more encouraging: in seventeen countries world wide!

The launch of the "Medieval Cyprus eMagazine" was announced on several Bulletin Boards, Facebook and other social networks.

In several emails I received congratulations on the promotion of (Northern) Cyprus - thank you, much appreciated!

I have left the first issue of the "Medieval Cyprus eMagazine" on line to read:

or download and read on your computer or tablet:

This week two more Cypriot Turks joined the list of contributors to the "Medieval Cyprus eMagazine". They are Mustafa Gürsel and Taçgey Debeş. Mustafa agreed to have his wonderful photographs of ancient Cyprus monuments published in the "Medieval Cyprus eMagazine" - you may have seen his impressive work in St Hilarion Castle (second level), where a selection of his best flower pictures is on permanent display.

Taçgey Debeş writes in the next issue of the "Medieval Cyprus eMagazine" about one of the great Brits in Cyprus in the past century, Dr William "Bill" Dreghorn. This Cyprus legend did more for tourism promotion of Northern Cyprus than, ermm, some ministers...
