As a Liverpool Fan I do agree that its time for Kenny to step aside.

Either get a new young manager and keep him as a mentor which I would like to see.

Foreign Manager no!!

Ex Premiership retreads no!

Ex Liverpool Player whose in management deffo!

Glad to see all the messages are gladly jumping on the bandwagon on our bad run, but hey we have one cup, are in Europe and the fans have another trip to Wembley to beat Everton.

So 2 Cups in a season is that a bad season?????????????????????/

if liverpool had kept promoting managers from within the club thay would not be in this position now.

anybody with pride and passion for the club should be manager not somebody just doing it for the money.

Kenny is doing ok for now, he is liverpool thats the main thing.

he has just one a cup and now the tv are on his back!!!!!!!!!!

sack the villa manager thay should have never give him the job he took birmingham down hes reward villa manager how strange!!!

Carroll, Henderson, Downing, Adam and Shelvie,.... all flops and not good enough and kenny has to accept that they were his signings and take the bullitt.

Leave King Kenny alone as he has more passion and dedication for the club than any previous manager since Bill Shankley ruled the Cop. All managers make mistakes, even Fergie. As a previous post already stated; Kenny and his players have in no time turned the club around. Rome wasn't built in a day!

There is a stat floating around at the moment that Liverpool could finish the season in their worse position since 1953 ?

Good to see some Liverpool Fans or sensible comments coming out.

I do think Kenny has a lot to answer but this tiredness is no excuse with the size of squad.

Ok won 1 Cup and in semi for other not happened since 2006, so good to win something.

Would rather have Champs League, Kenny on a 3 year contract I think he will get us there next year, so think he should enjoy remainder of season win FA Cup and see all his squad including youngsters.

A local striker is needed to be found like Fowler or Owen, but there is no chance given to young strikers. Flanaghan and robinson both defenders given chance why not a striker!

Turtle.

Not really. Managers are just not given enough time these days. I believe if Liverpool change managers again, it will only make things worse. Kenny is a good manager for Liverpool. He is well respected by the players/fans and if he were to go now it would affect the players moral and just compound the situation.

You are probably right Nick, its just so dissapointing when you see lack of effort and players who appear to have little passion for what they do.

Msg 16 I'm afraid 'money is the root of all evil!' And I'm afraid the game has become secondary, sadly!

Msg 17 I believe the passion exists but it appears the combination of players skills on the pitch do not match the passion at the moment. New blood is required (Bring on a few of the talented youngsters in the wings) but with the (Here we go, money again) financial restraints progress is slow.

There should be no financial restarints in bringing in home grown youth players, at least what they lack in experience may be made up in hunger to play for their team

Gentlemen

Maybe its time for a German manager to come and sort things out! You can't even pick an English manager for your national team. That says it all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Fritzmeyer. Nothing personal but it matters not a jot wether a manager comes from Germany, Timbuktu or he's a little green man with one eye, one arm, one leg and is from the Moon; as long as he is the best choice for the club in question!

'You can't even pick an English manager for your national team. That says it all!!!!!!!!!!!! .' (Stones and glasshouse comes to mind!)

Lastly I would like to point out a little fact, the title of this thread is:- football : is queen kenny finished ?

People should remember that Sir Alex was about to be chopped by MU and only just scraped through by the skin of his teeth.

Managers should be given time the same as new team members to settle in and make a team, it does not matter what you pay for a player, what matters is how quickly he settles into a new regime.

How long do they need to learn how to play what is really a simple game ?

if you go liverpool echo website and read the posts its obvious civil war as broke out among the fans.

on andy carroll, at the start of the season when it became clear queen kenny had made the biggest transfer boobie of all time the clubs acting C.E ian ayre tried to baffle rodger jackson of radio merseyside into believing the club didnt infact pay 35 million ! which resulted in alan brazil of talksport clearing it up a few mornings later by phoning newcastle director derek lambias who said " i can confirm newcastle and liverpool agreed a fee of 35 million pounds for the transfer of andy carroll on window dead line day 2011 , our lawyers inserted strict penalty clauses of 1% on full fee being paid if it was not in our bank account 48 hours after deal signed" he went on to say they paid 8 days late and had to pay 35million plus 1% ! so ian ayre was right they didnt pay 35 million they paid more !

Msg 20

I think you will find that it is an Italian manager at the top.

This does not surprise me as to the ignorance of the united fans, laughable really.

Funny, it's all about resources, Liverpool are a huge club with massive amounts of money, but they under perform.... As regards, Mick Mc Carthy, a very good manager, who did a great job for Ireland with scant resources. Would not be the worst Manager, probably one of the best. Liverpool are, on the way down, because the players don't care about the club, only the money.

Im not a big fan of Kenny however lets not forget he sold Torres for £50m and bought Carroll for £35m so it cost Liverpool sod all.

In the grand scheme of things Fergie however has made some almighty clangers in the transfer market so some work some don't,... its just a big gamble.............................but with other peoples money.
