I'm really pleased as our daughter is on a sailing course in Scotland this week and nothing is better than sailing in good weather as long as there is a breeze.

Its not camels, its a new breed of haggis. A Sahara variety - the Al Haggi must have stowed away in my luggage when I came back from Doha. Now they've interbred and are running amok in the bonny purple heather. Can't miss em - they've got 3 humps.

My bonny, bonny scotland will never be the same again. I think the Proclaimers are writing a song about it as I type.

Problem is.. I do recall last year the UK had a beautiful late March / April... and then it chucked it down almost all of August!!

Bring on the (post April) reliable Cyprus sunshine!!!
