Cyprus Today is a much better newspaper, The Cyprus star is all about promoting Ali Safa and advertising Medview Homes and Mr Safa,s media empire. I have bought the Cyprus star on a couple of occasions but it is a bit like reading a comic. The Butler

The Cyprus Star (when we've eaten fish...). PS. Content seems to be moderated by our own bunch of 44-mods. PPS. Now that Simbas is back the Mods can start moderating each other.

Dont you listen Hans. Women never say what they really mean. After all, we should know having been married long enough!! (Not to each other for the quick amongst you). Star for me cos I like Mr. Safa. Skogsy

I try to read all of the TRNC/ROC English language newspapers and also any mainland Turkey English language newspapers. It is the same as the UK if you limit yourself to one particular newspaper then you do not get a balanced view. AJ

Dutch, nothing wrong with your post and a somewhat, dare I say it, 'hysterical' (IMHO)reaction from Becks.

DC,without being picky and it is the season of goodwill to all persons and please Becks don't take this personally, should it not read; "Once again an intelligent thread has been ruined by DOUBLE DUTCHMAN.Why don't you go away ?". Still only get seven and i have just made two typos on a post of my own so maybe "teapot etc." and i am only doing this at all to get away from my two youngest sons arguing and kicking sh*t out of each other. When does school start back,oh no Jan 5th. PS. My pet hate is the use or rather incorrect use of there and their !!!!!!! PPS. And don't people remember "i after e except after c "

RE msg 19, bachelibelly ===> OK, this was todays Becks' quiz: (...) once agian an inteligent threed has been ruined by DOUBLE DUTCHMAN. why dont you go away . (...) Eight (8) errors (complaints about the result of this quiz to Izzet, please...): 1) once = Once 2) agian = again 3) inteligent = intelligent 4) threed = thread 5) why = Why 6) dont = don't 7) away . = no space between y and . (the dot) 8) it's a question, so the dot should be a question mark Kind regards, DutchCrusader (Hans Doeleman)

RE msg 21, negativenick : (...) in fact can't think of anything (...) ===> After reading some of your posts, well, that's what I feared. PS. You forgot to mention The Red Light District in Amsterdam (where btw 80% of the tourists/visitors come from the UK...).
