We have gas central heating, also oil filled radiators and air-con.

Can anyone advise me of the most economic way of heating the house out of these options please. We would only want to take the chill off in a morning and evening. I've already got calor gas heaters downstairs, but the rest of the house is freezing!

Thanks, Tinks

If you've got central heating, use that 1st,

it will heat the whole house,

then just turn the thermostats down to a comfortable level,

or put gas heaters on once you've got house warmed up.

these houses don't hold the heat over here the same as UK builds.

Good luck,

If you have central heating why dont you use that? Because almost all heating options cost the same I beleive. Aircon never heats the house as soon as you turn it off it goes cold again. What I do with gas central heating is, I turn some of the room's radiators off and spends less gas and leave the rest on, all day with a set temprature, so it spends less gas. Gas central heating is the healties way to warm yourself and cheapest. I may be wrong since this was my way to find solution to warm my house after trying several options Happy New Year
