Anybody been to Metehan this week?



They opened the new Civil Defence Headquarters and they have the biggest flags you have ever seen outside. They are the usual KKTC and Turkish flags but they are the size of the ones flying on the mountains etc.



Not sure where? At the roundabout just along from China Bazaar.



Make us feel proud of our adopted home where you are allowed to do such things.

CIH..Have yet to see them but if you want to see the biggest flag in the world ,so they say,go to Aquaba in Jordan.It is colossal,measures something like 40mtrs by 30 mtrs,might be even bigger. the flag pole it hangs off is enormous as well.Seen a few flags around but that one is something else....

When I was working out in Jordan I used to spend every other weekend in Aqaba. Jordan is a great country and Jordanians are probably the most hospitable race in the Middle East. Where is the flag situated exactly?
