I nominate Teressa for all her selfless hard work for those less fortunate or in trouble.

A SUPER STAR TRNC style

Agree with the above nominee's.

Lilli will get my vote for still smiling after all the adverse comments she has had to put up with.

Bumped in to her today while she was shopping for the family who lost everything in the fire at Karsiyaka.

It was plain to see how upset she has been over some of the attacks aimed at her....and I have to agree with what she said...."most of the comments are from member's who have never met me and have never eaten at Guido's".

Shame that people have to be so nasty...I hope they stop and think before they push that "post reply" button...think how you would feel if it was you on the receiving end.

Teressa also gets my vote for all her efforts when it comes to people who need that extra bit of help.

Without people like her to rally support for this unfortunate family we would be none the wiser to their misfortune.

OK, she's a very worthy candidate - but let's start writing her name right: Teresa and not Teressa. Just for the record (and her name on the medal...).

Can we have Teresa and Marian of HBPG? They are both worthy for the honours list.

OMG what is all this about, crying before i have even had my first coffee of the day. I dont deserve a medal or nominatons it is everyone of you that opened your cupbords and hearts yesterday because without you god knows how long they would have been living in an empty shell.

Tom from IAH sent me a happy new year msg yesterday via MSN and i said to him that if yesterday was anything to go by then this is the year of humanity.

I would also like to nominate a couple of posters....Pike for his outstanding if unstable views on the TRNC, he always puts up a good fight and I think he just does it to make us all stop and think and that in itself encourages good debate.

negativenick for his ability to wind people up and get them to bite hehe

Brian24001 - being Wyn's donkey must be a nightmare, considering that's where he talks out of. Poor animal must have permanent earache.

Wicks - Totally agree with Dee, you are just being 'naughty but nice' John would see this as harmless banter.

But more seriously, the real honours should go to Teresa (spelt correctly in case DC is around) and her crew of course.

Marion for her efforts to help so many in the face of so much adversity.

And Lillie for both being an all round 'good egg' who will go out of her way to help anyone in need.
