| Just to forewarn anyone going for their residency renewal - it`s gone up.
Today I paid 175ytl plus the stamp is an extra 1ytl. |

| why would you want to have residency here, when everytime you go over the border to the south, you get a 90 day visa ?
Why waste your money ??

I took the 5.6 stamp with me and they wanted another 1ytl. Was lucky because the girl behind the counter had one. |

| then there is having to get a Turkish driving licence at a cost of 200 odd TL per year (if you are a "tourist" on a 90 day visa you can use your UK licence).
It's your money - spend it wisely - there will always be a lovable TC happy to take it off you.

| my suggestion would be to bring a car from the uk and "smoke" it...
Because the majority have listened to the minority, far too many over here are like sheep..
Love the £79 is not much comment ! - wait till the interest on your YTL savings account drops from 20% to 5% inline with the rest of Europe, and you can't get a job due to gov't restritions on foreigners (todays Cyprus Today), then say £79 is not much...
Some people are living in Cloud Cuckoo land, as me old grandad used to say......
