Collecting from Larnaca

Some time ago a read a thread on here re collecting people from larnaca, and being stopped at the border. Not allowed to bring folks in!!!

I am due to collect my friends who are staying with us later in the month for a weeks holiday, anyone have any info on what is the current situation please.

1/ If you mentioned "border" to the RoC police they would probably lecture you that the only border in Cyprus is the Med ! No limitations for TCs or European Citizens entering "rump" RoC other than health and national security.



2/ If you meant the "north Police" - "visa" issues "overstaying on a previous visit or not being given long enough ones.

Sorry if I was confusing, we heard that the North officals were stopping Brits from collecting folks from Larnaca and bring to the north. Not sure if this is true, need to find out befor the 21st as my friends are coming for a holiday with us. Arriving into Larnaca

As long as you don't appear to be picking up 'friends' every other day, there won't be a problem.
