When does it start to get warm here ?

Do the Turkish have a word for urgent ?

Why, when i'm the boss, do they wait 3 days to tell me i've had an important phone call or visitor ?

Does anyone have a spare cannoe for me to get home in when it rains ?

Why do I get drunk easier here than at home ?

Well that's another 5 minutes wasted.

hi barabus i really want that job now. one thing you will hear time and time again is THIS IS CYPRUS . I have yet to find out after 4 years of running restaurants here if its a reason or an excuse. When you first arrive it can be very frustrating but you have to get used to it otherwise your on blood pressure tablets.they have a very relaxed way of doing things and do not see the importance of passing on messages etc. you have to learn to read thier minds. relax into your job you wont change thier mentality sorry but we have to go with it. Are you learning turkish as I am assuming that your staff are cypriots or turkish. that may help . good luck lilli xxx

Bottled Efes has a variable alcahol content. It is not controlled. Take care when drinking it.

Barabus - they have quite a lot of AA groups here - it's enough to drive anyone to drink!!!

A cautionary message for you LOL

Message 16 - wasn't the man with a name very close to the spelling "barabus" the one who went with Jesus to be crucified?

Or am I forgetting my bible studies of many, many years ago? LOL
