English Cricket, Rugby & Football are all in a mess.

The sports administrators should be ashamed of themselves and resign

Its an absolute disgrace.Pitersen opened his mouth for the good of english cricket and the old school tie brigade didnt like it.The captain should have full control of the team not the toffee nosed devils that control the game.I bet the aussies cannot wate to whitewash us in the ashes. When will we ever learn,

Paul.

Yes but not all the changing room were behind him as his tough want to win and suffer no fools attitude just wasn`t cricket. He went down guns blazing though, not compromising on his belief, that was to keep the blazers and school ties out of team matters and leave them back in the clubhouse.

They should ban cricket. It's boring.

Is this a Cyprus issue?

This post is boring. If anyone in NC is interested in cricket I am sure they will read it somewhere else.

Paul

message five totaly agree Captains in cricket should have carte blance over selection. Not the toffee nosed w--n-ers that rule the game . Maybe thats whats wrong with our game as for rugby and football diferent game. cant think off a captain who has the brains to pick a winning team ?

Val 44..I was not aware that once you joined this forum that you had to cut yourself off from allthe rest of the world and what was happening out here. if this board restricted itself to topics only about CYPRUS I doubt if would survive very long...

Difficult for me pass a good comment on the affair because I have missed his interview on ITV twice. He obviously had damn good reasons because all he jas ever wanted to do is play cricket for England ,not South Africa. So to be offered the captaincy at such a young age he must have been over the moon.Think Master Flintoff might have had something to with it ...
