Well lazy in that I could probably find out if I researched the answer myself but people on here are so helpful..........

I have read about the tax on earnings over YTL2,000 being set at 5% for income being earned in the UK e.g. my military pension and other funds, how do you go about achieving this when resident in NC and stop the horrible UK government taking their 40%?

Thanks in advance, Tony

Tony - I forgot to mention that with private pension plans, e.g. Clerical Medical, Norwich Union etc, they will make the payments into your overseas bank account without deducting any tax in the Uk if you are not resident in the UK.

Thanks Paul.......I wonder if the Ministry of Defence will? I shall check it out.

Although I am non tax resident at the moment working in Iraq they still deduct UK income tax from my part pension (it goes to full rate in 3 years time) probably due to there being no reciprocal tax agreements being in place.
