Over the past few weeks many of you will have experienced errors on posting, slowness of the site and occasionally the site being unavailable at all.



These issues have been reported to the hosting company by us and several other BB’s but to date we have not had any response.



On checking the support forum for our BB, it is apparent that the administrators have not been active for many months and we suspect that the company and 4 other affiliated companies have ceased to operate and it is only a matter of time before the BB fails totally. Sadly because of this we have not been able to obtain a backup of

Hmm, this would be a shame for many folk.. this board gets a lot of stick sometimes for being "too nice" but they have always allowed diverse opinions and managed not to ban anyone as far as I know..



I, for one, would be sad to see the members, many who I am acquainted with, yet have VERY little in common with , politically, lose contact..



Now, this board is very busy, but somehow that board manage(s)d

to allow diversity, without rudeness...

Mark, I couldn't have said it better myself, I joined this board on the 24 th Dec 2006 and joined that one on Dec 1st of 2006. I have over 3800 posts on there , that just goes to show that it makes people not afraid to post without the fear of useless off topic attacks.

Maybe something will be sorted out and they wont have to close down.

They are the friendliest bunch of people on any of the boards around, none of this attacking each other crap that seems to get into most of the other boards.

it will be sad if it ends up closing.

M, thanks, I guess 2009 is going to make me more agreeable ,the photos were taken in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, only a couple of hours from LA, and the funny thing is, their high season is Nov-March.

I prefer to go October , u still get a bit of " monsoonish" rainfall but everything is lush and tropical and sooo cheap.

Great sunsets, great beaches , great food and fantastic people.

Very popular with the Brits, they must be doing package deals, I met a lot of Londoners there.

Highly recommended.

Hope life is treating you and Veda well.

negativenick. you shouldn't speak for "most people" There must have been plenty of people who like that board - us and plenty of other people we know. Like this board as well but then we usually stop reading anything that looks like it's going to turn into a slanging match.

I stopped posting on that board some time ago (long winded explanation), but it was a good board. The admin were committed and many of the members loved it.



If it is resurrected I will join, there is a place for all types of board.
