Are you fed up with the infighting of the story lines of East Enders and Coronation Street; if so let TheatreLambousa take you back to the good old days of "steam radio" and “Mrs Dale’s Diary” or indeed even “The Archers”.



TheatreLambousa is putting on two one-act comedy plays. One of these is “Hurrah for Mrs Hickson” written by Roy Plumley which is a spoof on Radio Serials. The cast are in the Radio studio having a read through for the 4,469th episode (over 18 years) of “The Mrs Hickson Story”. The programme is regarded by the cast and their many, many listeners as a national institution. A cast member goes sick and is replaced by someone who hasn’t heard of Mrs Hickson. God forbid!



Performances on Thursday, 12th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March at the Barons’ Theatre, Château Lambousa Hotel, Lapta. Thursday and Saturday will be non-smoking evenings.
