In case you did not here, that great actor Patrick McGoohan moved on 13th, aged 80



Although born in New York his major claims to fame was acting in UK based TV and movies.



Who can forget, or indeed know what it was about - The Prisoner - where his famous line in response to being called Number 6 was "I am not a number"!



Prior to that he played John Drake in Danger Man, my earliest memory of TV spy programmes.



His film credits are endless.



Mr Mcgoohan is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan, 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Message 1 - he was my Mum's favourite when he was in Danger Man.



I loved The Prisoner although to be honest, never really understood it!
