For anybody that may be interested: A very good friend of mine, I will not name Him, however He is a true HERO and brave, He is a qualified and experienced Sailor and Commander of Boats, Yachts and Ships. I have had the pleasure of some very Wonderful Sailing Holidays around the World with Him and close friends. Most recently while most of us were Chilling out for Christmas and New Year, He along with a group of Doctors, Surgeons and Medical supplies braved the journey from South Cyprus on Ship "Dignity" to the GAZA Strip, Three quarters of the way across the water they came under attack from Israelie Gun boats. Boat was badly damaged and limped back to Lebanon under some "Neutral" Boats in the area. All on board made it! I will Post another message with the internet address of the plight and rescue for people interested. nunu1

The Web site is: http://www.freegaza.org The trip made on 29/30 th Dec 2008 was a Risky one! Back in November 2008, My Friend took a full Ship load of UK MP's, Doctor's, Surgeons and medical Supplies Successfully to the GAZA Strip in the middle of the night. Several MP's also had Face to Face talks in the Gaza with Israel Diplomats etc. My Good friend and MP's were "Neutral" in their plight and voyage and meant peace "SHALOM" in their Voyage and intentions. Today, in The houses of Parliament, These Voyages and missions were mentioned. I wish to also state: I am Neutral and take no side in this sad and terrible situation and PRAY for Peace and Harmony. Ehn Shalah...Shalom. nunu

nunu1: "Three quarters of the way across the water they came under attack from Israelie Gun boats. Boat was badly damaged and limped back to Lebanon under some "Neutral" Boats in the area." I heard a BBC report about this trip from a reporter who was onboard. He said they suffered mechanical problems and had to turn back. There was no mention of being attacked by the Israelis. Do you have a link to your friend's version of events?

So this TRUE story is now cast into doubt by the BBC so which version is actually correct. The journey made seems a bit foolhardy as to attempt this relatively short crossing in a dodgy boat under the gaze of the Israeli navy. If this version is correct then the experienced sailor and commandor of boats should think about getting a desk job somewhere.

Cypfan and CJtill the website is : http://freegaza.org if you care to look through its archives you will see in video and in script the several journeys made. The BBC reporter was on another voyage across and I believe it was another ship altogether as the "Dignity" was rammed by Isrealie gun boats and shot at. My friend and all on board were unarmed and scared for their lives! CJtill I do not like your comments! The boat "Dignity" was not a dodgy boat and saying for my friend the commander to get a desk job! Is that all you can say!? These people are risking their lives to help others that are in the middle of a bloody warzone! I suggest you go and post on other forums, READ THE FACTS! nunu1
