This bb is a bit like life. You must know your place. It is run and moderated by people on a higher level. They can do as they please. We have a choice, either join in or leave.

This is just the start. Once all the moderators get the hang of things. Posts, threads memberships will be deleted all over the place.

There are just too many people involved and too many people with power.

Judging by some of the posts left by moderators. These are not the brightest sparks. They will argue amongst therselves until this forum implodes.

I must agree. The mods are out of control.

The posters who are not moderated off the board are now leaving anyway.

There is no policy amongst mods. They do not work as a team.

One moderator joins in the conversation on a thread, the next closes the thread. Moderators are moderating other moderators.

It's a shambles.

Sometimes moderators should take a deep breath and think for a minute before they act.

Val44. I somewhat disagree with you that the moderators are out of control. I think some of the posters on here are out of control (I'm not including you on that!).

I agree with your last sentence though.

Bill as I have said before, moderators are damned if they do & damned if they do not.

Yet again the age old problem of moderators crops up.

The Wicks are right.....mods just can't win.

The people who do the most moaning about moderators couldn't handle the job themselves and wouldn't accept it if offered.

How about an experiment?

For one week only let the mods stand down and leave this place totally unmoderated.

How do you think that would go?

Be careful what you wish for !

Cronos before the Macaozy debacle the board was not heavily moderated and worked just fine. In theory, that member should have been moderated and/or banned and everything would have gone back to normal. Unfortunately, that did not happen and then following the fallout lots of new moderators were appointed. Since then the moderators have become the most often discussed subject on this board. Personally, I would like to see the board go back to how it was a few months ago and if that means cutting down on the number of moderators again then so be it.

It went well before all these mods were summoned. Note I didn't say elected.

Big troublesome weekend I recall with some idiot called Makosee. (Wasnt she the troublemaker on Big brothe)r?

Then the board went into a chaotic phase of over moderation.

AJ resigned because people didn't like him being over opinionated. Another of their number resigned last night as she publically named and shamed someone.

Sorry have to leave this thread as the darts are on the other thread.

Joandjelly. Msg 9

Tatally agree with you. Some weeks ago a member sent threatening emails to another member, that same member is now posting under another name unfortunatly for them though he has changed the name the content is still the same.

Hi all,

Why don't we all be mod's, then we can close each others post's.

Should be fun.
