You've all probably heard by now about the US airlines jet that crash landed into the Hudson river in New York.

Apparently after take off a flock of Canada geese took flight and some ended up in the engines, both engines failed.

What a hero the pilot turned out to be, all 155 lives saved, people were actually standing on the wings of the plane while it was slowly sinking.

The great part was all the boats that rushed in to help, a Miracle on the Hudson.

.

This could have very easily been a huge disaster in a very crowded city.
