I am wondering if sad exists(seasonal affected disorder) the reason i am asking is the bickering on the forum the last couple of months leaves a lot to be desired, roll on the sunshine !!!

Jock1 Yes S.A.D. does exist......Many people are affected by it and it is a miserable period of time that people go through.



You think you have a hard time in Cyprus with the winter? The UK has been cold and miserable.............going by your name you must be from Scotland originally? Im sure you dont miss the weather there!!!???



Dark cold gloomy nights in the UK added to that the credit crunch and doom on the tv radio it definately makes me feel SAD!

watcha jok think the brits invented SAD if you have ever watched Ray Winstones film "sexy beast" he describes his fellow brits as " grey, grimey, all shuffling about, all worried, every .... with a long face " thats what its like here at the moment ! we are coming out next week to do final bits with builder with the view of moving permenantly in april ! perhaps the people on here who moan due to the weather should live in 2 countries in the year ! the canaries quite good at mo !

i do understand that "sad" is a serious disease to those who suffer from it and i must admit to the odd feeling of depression on drawing the curtains day after day to a grey and gloomy outlook and the economy isnt any better ! but i,m always up for a laugh just a quick look in the mirror each morning cracks me up and would recommend that therapy to others who feel down !

Jock1 I was assuming you live in Cyprus? Maybe not but are you living still in Bonnie Scotland? A great Country I must say...had many lovely times up there! Edinburgh, Glasgy, Oban, Isle of Mull.......

Nunu1 yes im i stay in the trnc full time now, originated from Edinburgh, i agree it is a lovely city but this is my new home now and by god, i love it.

hi all i sffered from SAD DISORDER when in the uk. however i have to say since being in cyprus the symptoms have disappeared. maybe replaced by other conditions but sad no more xx take care all xxxxxxxxxxxx
