It will depend on whether she left a will and if so who it was left to.

Search for UK Land registry online and you can see who the title is registered to ( It costs £3)

If you're in London have a word with the Cyprus High Commission and they should tell you how to go about it. There's red tape and s six-month residency requirement, but people are doing this as we speak.

There was a story in Cyprus Today a year or so back about a young Turkish Cypriot mum and her kids who got the keys back o the family house she was born in at Larnaca. Great looking house close and to the seafront, too.

hytulay,

Lack of deeds may be a problem but speak to the Cy High Commission. I'd imagine if you have other documentation to verify you and your family they can match it with the land registry copy of the title deeds.

If I was in your shoes I'd get myself over to Cyprus and check out the house. As well as tracing any TCs who lived in the village before 1974. They could maybe vouch for your family.

they will offer you a third of whats it,s worth and no you won,t have to stay in the south for six months it won,t apply to you ,besides if its in iskele and near the coast they will bite your hand off for it ,if you are smart you will not sell.
