as i was reading one of the turkish papers i came across this article ,turkish cypriots were the caspers for greek cypriots. you know the friendly ghost casper ,who,s invisible but friendly who cannot find a partner to play with ?casper just wants to play games ,be friends but people either don,t see him or are horrified at the first encounter .... this "invisibilty" changed when turkish cypriots were demonstrating in the streets and greek cypriots were shocked to find out that a community in revolt existed in the "other part" of the island . tha opening of "the borders" helped erase more ,part of this "invisibilitly..... when maria took her small cousin to visit the north ,she was suprised ; but they are clean ,she told maria ;did you expect them to be dirty ? i thought they would be ,our enemy should be dirty ,ugly and lazy and all the bad things we attribute to them ,right. i thought it was quite funny. musin

I'd say "sad" actually.. too much water had passed under the bridge... a lot of crappy mystique and nonsense.. Musin have you forgotten the tears of joy as some old friends met for the fist time in nearly thirty years and how Turkish folk living in a displaced GC's house had kept everything in a box for them - in case they came one day.. It is so sad that "Liealotopoulos" threw away a golden opportunity to negotiate - thinking he could deliver a "better solution"..

Musin M.. re 4 "this article was written by a greek lady ." Do you mean Greek speaking CYPRIOT? "you know so little of real cypriots" .. enough to know in less than 5 minutes living there that Maria is not going to be Turkish in origin :P ;) Musin I wasn't talking about the article.. I wasn't talking about your attitude to it "funny" as you described it.. I'm with Cypfan.. your Greek CYPRIOT "friends" would really appreciate "long live KKTC" .. and I bet you are a really nice guy in their company .
