I've been reading with interest the various posts on bringing dogs to TRNC. Still a bit confused about how long the dog has to stay in quarantine - and how Little Nige got his dog out after just 8 days! Also, can you walk and feed your dog when you want, or are there set 'visiting' times? Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul, I am moving to TRNC and am also taking my 2 dogs with me. My friends who are already living there walked their dogs everyday at 8am and again at 4pm. There is a large open space beside the quarantine depot where you can excercise your dogs. I think the amount of time in quarantine varies but they advised me to get the dogs seperate kennels as this helps to get them released quicker. Hope this helps Shona

Its the luck of the draw as to how long your dog stays in !! I can not advise on visiting times as its 2.5 years since we went through it but I went twice a day from girne - lefkosia. It is YOUR responsability to feed water and exersise your dog. if you fail to visit the dog will not be fed ! James they are in lefkosia near the raidio station turn left at the roundabout from girne then left again after the second set of lights ( i think ). Hope this helps little nige lol( wish i was )
