| not sure i have got right description of what i want but i have used them in spain and portugal when renting apartments before and would like to get some for my property , they are fixed to the wall and you have a handle to wind them in and out when needed ,is there anywhere in Girne that does this sort of work and also approx cost , thanks |

| Sounds like an awning to me as well. I suppose you must be able to get one/have one made somewhere, since Restaurants have them. Sorry - not much help, am I? J |

| There is a place that does wind out awnings in Karakum. Loads of fabric choices and not bad prices. |

| I have just bought venetian blinds from this company which was recommended by a few forum members and they were very good - Saracoglu, lefkosa - and they do awnings. |

| There is a petrol station across the road near to the Courtyard... A shop in the middle of the block before the petrol station do awnings of the type you are looking for... The cost is £150 per running metre or was earlier this year... ie. 4 metre long £600 |

| We have purchased 3 awnings from Hay Hay, the shop in Karakum mentioned in a couple of the above posts. We originally bought 1 then a further 2 the following year. The most recent 2 cost about £500 each and that was about 18 months ago. Ours are about 2.5m x 3m. |
