I think these days you have to give horses away they take a lot of time to look after and can be expensive. I have just donated two ponies to a riding stable where I know they will be looked after. properly. The danger with trying to sell is no one wants to buy unless it is someone you may not want to have them as they may not give the required level of care.

msg 9, What a shame the authorities here aren't civilised enough to offer protection to animals by bringing in cruelty laws. The fact that the horse is said to be getting skinnier by the day would suggest someone needs to be charged. But we know that will never happen.

Hi, This is a terribly sad story about one very lonely, hungry horse(horses should NEVER be kept on their own, they are herd animals) who is slowly being starved to death. I know this might sound drastic, but if no home can be found, could the person that currently has the horse find someone with a gun and put the poor it out of it's misery. Sometimes it is necessary to take such action, rather than leave the poor horse suffering day after day. If he is a Cypriot he must no a farmer who has a gun, it would be so much kinder. Before anyone rushes to criticize me, please think about what I've said first.
