Anyone would be forgiven for thinking Coldspurs were Premiership material until the boys from the Turf destroyed them tonight!3-2 in your Cup final boys......Man Utd.will destroy you.

Fair enough but how exactly were the Clarets robbed?

Did Spurs get a dodgy penalty?

Were either of their goals offside?

Did they kick Burnley off the park?

Was the ref biased?



The answer to all the above to any neutral observer is NO.



So enlighten us all, how exactly were the Clarets robbed?

It pains me to say it but you were so unlucky burnley were the better team the centre forward blake was outstanding. Im listening to radio lancashire at the moment and there are a lot of gutted fans on the radio..........

Burnley were robbed by the rules.In most other competitions which use the away goal rule,the rule is applied at the end of fulltime,which would have made Burnley the winners,dont know why the rule is not applied until after extra time in this cup competition.

Burnley did not have the stamina to last and were very weak at the end I guess little nige is embarrassed hes gone silent on chanting another victory , they just were not good enough. Wait till saturday and watch how Ipswich play Chelsea off the bridge.

Sorry mate final score 6-4, football is about scoring goals and Burnley didn't score enough. Everyone knew the rules before the game so there is little point in dragging in that excuse. Spurs were very poor but they were still good enough to beat your boys. Tho I admit until extra time, when Burnley ran out of energy, I wondered where the goals would come from. Spurs had more shots on target and really should have put it to bed in normal time. Burnley took their chances and made it a thrilling night for the neutrals!

A great performance over both legs, but if you are being honest you had your chance and threw it away, robbed is a bit rich. Concentrate on getting promoted while we try to stay up, good luck we'll both need it!!

How were Burnley robbed?



Spurs outshot them 15-4 (on target)

Spurs scored 6 goals over the two legs, Burnley managed 4

As to the away goals rule the system has been in place ever since plod effectively banned multiple replays. Moaning about it now doesn`t change the situation.

Last time we played Celtic,I seem to remember we won both at Turf Moor and also Parkhead in the Anglo-Scottish cup. I also remember being chased across our pitch by some of your compatriots shouting something about Bannockburn !

If you`re referring to the incident when the French full back got a tad too excited, the keeper put it out for a corner. Ergo, he didn`t gather the ball.
