I have been offered shared title deeds by my lawyer as an interim solution to allow me to pay my taxes and take the opportunity to pay the discounted land transfer fees. He has suggested that once my builder has got his act together I can then convert my shared deeds into the individual version at no extra cost.

Anyone else being offered this?

We ahve been offered 1/16th (16 villa's on site) of our site.

This is for the land only at this stage although parcellisation has taken place but the deeds to the actual villa's are not as yet ready.

We have been told that in order to take advantage of the present discount on offer we can get the deeds to the land and have the villa added later at a cost of £50.

Thanks,

That makes sense, how long have you been told you will have to wait for your individual Kocan? I'm sure there will be a mad dash, getting busier, at the Land Registry Tax Office to take advantage of the 75% discount.

Puppylover, I was told that to add the villa at a later stage it was more like £500-£600 ?

My lawyer did say the individual Kocan would be at no additional cost and I believe him because he is a professional man with integrity!
