Monarch have just cancelled all their Sunday flights Luton to larnaca from now until Mid March,just been notified two weeks before departure .

Try Easyjet to Istanbul then Pegasus to Ercan before the cynics respond yes yes may have to wait a while for connecting flights and yes you might have to pay £10 for a visa but I think this only applies if you go to Istanbul Ataturk International Airport.

You may both be flying out on Sunday the 1st Feb.but you wont be flying back unless its the 8th of March or later !

Perhaps its just me that Monarch dont want to fly on Sunday with from Luton ,try and book a return flight on a sunday in between 1st of feb and 1st of March and let me know ,just been on the website to confirm what i am saying is correct .

My wife was due to fly from luton to Larnaca on Sun 29 March, had an email from Monarch to say it has been cancelled.

They did transfer her to the following days flight, and gave 3 other options, cancell and receive a full refund, transfer to another destination at no extra cost, or fly from another airport at no extra cost.

She phoned Monarch, they were really helpful, and have arranged an alternative flight. She also asked whether she could be allowed extra luggage allowance for the inconvenience, but unfortunately that was not possible. (worth a try, you don't get if you don't ask)

Ive booked a cab also might as well share cost if you want, only problem is im bringing blinds as hand luggage which is about 6ft long so will possible need 6 seater. Right thats it i am going to sue the ass offf Monarch ,i am contacting the ECHR, UN ,UNICYP, EU . AEIOU AND THE F**KIN SAMARITANS. If i am the only one they wont let fly on a SUNDAY FEBRUARY THE 8TH TIL MARCH THE 8TH FROM LUTON TO LARNACA.
