The Antique Esentepe has now re-opened with its old chef Tony.

Tony used to cook at the Antique and then went to The Old Mill Ozankoy.

He has returned now it has reopned.

Located just past Esentepe village turn off on the coast road.

I believe there is a small 5-star complex going to be built quite near to the Antique Restaurant. Lucky people will have 5-star food as well by the looks of it.

Had lunch there a couple of times. Good food - reasonable price, great hospitality.

Great to hear Tony is back we shall now go back, I think he was greatly missed as its such a lovely setting and personally thought it went downhill when he left.

The Antique is the venue we most frequent because of the friendly service and great value for money.

Can't wait to be in NC again so we can return and try out the new chef.

Just returned from TRNC and having come across this "dated" thread it reminded me of The Antique.

My wife & I had a great meal sitting out on the veranda and the quality was superb. I had sea bass and at 23ytl, with home made chips & salad, it was catch of the day !!! Would highly recommend, top food , top value & top service.

For info they are advertising a 3 course sunday lunch for 23 ytl , menu looks great as well.

Will be going back in August.

Hi firestarter,

When we were last over in April, we visited the Antique bar and restaurant and the food was unbelievably good. We have been in the past and been very disappointed by the food but it has since changed hands. We will certainly be going again.
