Seriously....last time we were over,I was relaxing on my terrace late afternoon and witnessed something unexplained in the clear skies above Bellapais Abbey.



No..it didn't look like a flying saucer...it was just a ball of white/orange light that suddenly appeared from nowhere at lightening speed and then stopped dead to the west of the Abbey....remained motionless for no more than 5 seconds...and then took off at unbelievable speed,disappearing within a couple of seconds.



I had not even started on the Efes..honest !

Very strange.

about 18 years ago when we first moved into our house in lefkosa, i was lying in bed and i saw a very bright light out side of the window, it was to bright to have been a car. İ slowly got out of bed,and went near the window to see what the light was ,but as i looked out the window it just vanished . İ dont know if it was a ufo , but it was something unexplainable.

me and my 13 yr old son filmed one following a helicopter to london city airport. its now on youtube. it flew like nothing ive seen.it followed the helli, sped up in front, went above, below, and shot off backwards n upwards.it was very fast, then slow, then fast again, as if playing with the helli.

YES, Veta and I saw a UFO off Limas(s)ol the night we got engaged ... DC found my post about it on a UFO site !



Don't worry, Nige, I took it in the "rib-tickling", "pokey" way it was intended..;)



BTW - we weren't t'only folks to see it, and we were sober..



It was three large orange lights that could suddenly accelerate - yet keep their pattern, form - in a way no known ( to me) current man made object could move..



Certainly made our night even more memorable !

Personally I have never seen a UFO, however a best friend is really in to it. He spent 7 days on Mount Shasta with Stephen Greer the creator of the disclosure project. My mate said he saw a never ending steam of UFO's as they entered earth through a portal in Shasta. He claims there were several NASA guys at the event.

I have never seen one, and don't really believe that these lights in the sky are from aliens. I am sure that there is a more down to earth (pardon the pun) explanation, after all, years and years ago no-one knew what St Elmo's fire and the Northern lights, and rainbows were did they? But like many others, I always knew that rainbows were where the fairies hide their pots of gold!!!!

The other thing to note is that although we consider our sensory system to be efficient it is really very limited. Objects held at a certain angle and certain distance are not viewed by our eyesight, we literally have a blind spot. We don't think we have a blindspot because our visual cortex justs creates an image of what we think should go in the picture and we never know that we have done this.



Also because our range and capacity is limited aliens could be walking amongst us and we would never know, simply because they could be existing and operating at a frequency which our sensory system is simply not receptive too.

I tend to agree with I love cyprus that ufos, aliens, ghosts are from another frequency on this planet and occasional atmospheric or other conditions we dont understand make these things visible, glad someone else shares this theory.

Why shouldnt there be other civilisations out there? We are not the be all and end all,if we have existed for a couple of million years I feel sure others could do the same.We cannot disprove the existance of other life because we do not have the technology to find out. Its 40 years since we are alledged to have landed on the Moon,and have we progressed any further,No. I was watching something on the news about further space exploration and all the big players are talking about 25 years in the future before another attempt to land on the Moon is tried.If it was that easy in 1969 why have we not been to Mars yet? I know about the logistics involved in quite a long trip like that but you would have thought that by now they would have come up with something. Its probably a case that if you dont want to come and visit us ,we will come and have alook at you,hence the UFO,s. Never seen one but would love to....

Seen one (UFO) clearly and at close range in Dhekelia on the hill overlooking the football and rugby pitchs. This was years ago when a teenager and some years ago I mentioned to the person who waswith me at the time whether he remebered the incident he replied in th eaffirmitive.
