Directions to Renew Residency

HI, I have done a search, but cannot come up with directions anywhere. I know I've done it before, but really cannot remember the way from the roundabout with the big rock in Lefkosia. Help please and could you make it simple!!!Thanks,

from "rocks" roundabout straight on, through main traffic lights where the motor bike shops are - bear left by the Jeep/Chrysler dealers keep going along the road until the tarmac stops - then go straight on over the rough ground - the imigration building is on your right.



When you go through the door, turn immediatly right by the lifts and follow the "imigration" signs to the end of the corridor.



Remember to get there 7.45- 8am as they start giving "tickets" out at 8.15am on a first come first serves basis (unless you are a Turk of course, when you just barge in).



Dont forget 7TL stamp and 175 TL for the payment.



If you time it right you should be in and out within an hour.

Thanks Nick, you make it sound so easy, is that the road opposite, when coming from Girne, where you go past the main hospital, when you say straight on from Rocks roundabout? As I said, I've got no sense of direction. I'll let you know later how many times I go "straight on" and get lost.

yes Stella - past hospital, through the lights and bear left by the Jeep dealer's showroom...



Make sure you get there early otherwise you won't get a ticket !
