Hello 44ers - long time no speak. Are the main beaches open from 11 April? Thinking of visiting Cornaro - has anyone been? Whats it like and how do you find it?

We usually go to Rosie's which is friendly and cosy (a bit grubby tho) or Escape but last time found Escape too full and really expensive for the couple of hours we were on it.

Corano is part of the Malpas Hotel in Catalkoy, and believe that you have to be a guest of the hotel to be able to use, but am sure that they accept non-residents for a fee too.

Some articles which may help

Smudge - I dont think escape will be open in April. Last year we used acapulco - they dont (or didnt) charge until late may. So you get the best beach for free.....

We've been to Cornaro - you don't have to be a guest of Malpas to use the facilities - we just had a beer but I met some ladies in the loo who told me that they had to pay (can't remember what ithe cost was but it wasn't much) and for the price you get a big fluffy towel, sun lounger and the first drink is free - I was impressed to be honest!!
