UK driving licence do we require them now

We have just been issued with our local driving licence and wanted to change our address on our UK ones. Do we need to wait for new ones to arrive from the UK or can we post them back as per the instructions on the DVLA web site. Our UK licences are being forwarded to us by a relative.

When you say change address on your UK licence is that to another UK address?

You will need them if you want to drive in the South, unless you are a Cypriot, Cypriots can use a Cypriot - North or South - Driving Licence

And what if you decide at some future date to return to the UK? I would maintain them.

sorry we have changed our UK address so they are renewals and as stated are waiting their delivery here.
