Hi

I want to visit the Karpas again this summer. Last time I stayed at Bachi Plaza, great place run by another Hassan, but my friends are more camper types and want to sleep under the stars and all that old bull.

Has anyone ever stayed at Hassan's Turtle Beach, he has several huts and a restaurant.

Does he do fresh fish?

Is there a bar, what are the washing facilities like?

Any info much appreciated.

Lem

I called in there last year, very friendly staff but it seemed very basic in all ways.

There were some huts in which you could stay but again very basic, be a nice place to go if you want total peace and quite. it was like the hippy camps of the 60s.

Good luck

Hi Lem - we love the Karpaz too - haven't been for a couple of years - so it is on our list for when we come out in September. We usually stay at the Livana Hotel, basic huts on stilts on the beach, fab food. Here is a link via essential cyprus http://essentialcyprus.com/livana-beach-huts-karpaz-north-cyprus/ . No electric apart from a light bulb - so girls forget the hairdryer!

There is also the Karpaz Arch Houses http://www.karpazarchhouses.com - haven't stayed there but looks a bit more substantial for those who don't do really basic!!

Have fun!
