Bed and Mattress sizes in TRNC

Please can anyone help me



I know that in the UK single beds are 190 x 90 cm - is it the same in the TRNC or can you get single beds and mattresses that are 200 x 90 cm?

All bed sizes are per the UK normal standard.



Only Ikea are the awkward ones!



You will also find that beds made locally are can be made to whatever size you wish. So if you have and Ikea mattress then having a bed made to suite your villa isn't a problem.

When we purchased our beds from Acelik (not sure of spelling) a few years ago all we could get then was single l90 x 90 and double 190 x 140, sorry cannot help with queens and kings!

My beds in Cyprus are larger than UK The double is more like queen and singles more like a 3/4 bed.

I think they are Turkish sizes, very good beds bigger than standard UK bed.

Thanks for all the info - unfortunately my bed size in the UK is 180 x 200 cm, so I'll have to shorten my husband!!!!
