I wonder how they qualify for the Top 10? I would say Rhossili in South Wales takes some beating.

The ones near Sandbanks where you get the ferry across the inlet to Studland are great and i loved it when i went there Summer 2002.

Sandbanks?

I think Tommy's got three houses there and he's overseeing a 50 million pound project to prevent coastal erosion !

Sorry Tommy....I'll stop now !

nico44, I bow to your superior judgement (on both counts) of where to live...

whilst I live in abu dhabi, I was in Poole only last week & had dinner at a place called 'storm' which must be the best fish restaurant I have ever been to....add to this that Niazi's in Kyrenia is the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been to, makes your choice of where to live a pretty good choice!!..Caio

Hey, what about Whitby? Fabulous beach .... and just like the Mediterranean down there today. Hope weather holds for the rest of the summer.. or at least the end of July when I am back in Cyprus.
